The Inu Shiba is one of the most popular four-legged companion in Japan. They are intelligent and loyal. I love them so much so I decided to make a cuddly crochet Inu Shiba. Hope you will enjoy it.

Cut the thread leaving enough length for sewing. Place the safety eyes between rounds 12 and 13 at about 8 sts apart. Stuff with the fiberfill.
Embroider the nose between rounds 13 and 15.
EARS (Make 2)
Begin with yellow yarn (yarn A)
Row 1: Cast on 3 sc in the magic ring (3)
Row 2: Yarn A: 1inc, Yarn B: 1inc, Yarn A: 1inc (6)

Fasten off. Leaving a long tail. Don’t stuff the ears. Take the ear, flatten it and sew the open edges closed. Leave a long tail
Sew the ear to the head between the row 6 and the row 12 of the head.
CHEEKS (Make 2)
Use the pink yarn
R1: 6sc in MR (6)
Cut and secure the thread. Leaving a long tail. Sew the cheeks between the R 14 and R17 and one on each side of the eyes.
LEGS (Make 2)
Use yellow yarn
R 1 : 5sc in MR (5)
R2: 5 inc (10)
R3: (1sc, 1inc) * 5 (15)
R 4- R 6: 15 sc (15)
Cut and secure the thread. Make the other leg but don’t cut the thread and continue working the body.
BODY
Continue working and put the second leg near to the first one and go ahead with these steps:
Row 1: Chain 3 and join with slip stitch through both loops of a sc on the first leg, sc in the following 15 sts of the first leg, 3sc in 3ch, sc in the following 15 sts of the second leg, , place a stitch marker in the last sts( 36)

Cut off yarn and leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew the belly to the body between R5 and R 15 of the body.
NECK
Use the red yarn
R1: Chain 32, put on the dog and make 1 slst in the 1st.
