How To Crochet Baby Mallard Duck – Amigurumi Duck Free Pattern

YarnArt Jeans White 01 (10gr)

YarnArt Jeans Brown (10gr)

YarnArt Jeans Yellow 67 (10gr)

1 pairs of 5mm safety eyes.

2 mm crochet hook

Toy filling

Scissor, yarn needle, markers, pin.

 Finished Size

Approximately 5cm.

 Gauge

24.0 sts = 4 inches

ch: chain
sts: stitch(es)
slst: slipstitch

Sc: single crochet

Inc: increase

Dec: Decrease

Dc: double crochet

hdc: half double crochet

FLO : Front loop only

BLO : Back loop only

FO: Fasten off

rep: repeat

(number): number of st in the round or strip

BODY

Use green yarn

Row 1 : 6sc in MR (6)

Row 2 : 6inc (12)

Row 3 : (1sc, 1inc) * 6 (18)

Row 4 – Row 6: 18sc (18)

Change to white yarn

Row 7: (2sc, 1inc) * 6 (24)

Change to brown yarn

Row 8: 24sc (24)

Row 9: (3sc;1inc)*6 (30)

Place the safety eyes between row 5 and row 6 of the head at about 4 sts apart.

Row 13: (3sc, 1dec) * 6 (24)

Row 14: (2sc, 1dec) * 6(18)

Start stuffing with the fiberfill and keep stuffing as you continue.

Cut the yarn and using a needle to guide it into each front loop of the last round. Fasten off

BILL

Use yellow yarn

3sc in Mr. Cut the yarn.

Sew the bill to the head.

WING (Make 2)

Use brown yarn

Row 1: 4sc in MR (4)

Row 2: (1sc, 1inc) * 2 (6)

Row 3: 6sc (6)

Cut the yarn. Sew the wing to the row 7 and row 8 of the body.
